Door Choices
Doors
All prices in the Price Guide are based on an Exterior Grade 1 ¾” thick 1 Lite (Full-View) Door in these materials (see below for more details):
- Fir
- Fiberglass
- Aluminum Clad
- Custom Series
Other options such as 10 or 15 lite French Doors, Solid Interior Doors or Custom Doors are available on a special order basis.
Glass
All glass is Insulated Low E to meet the most stringent energy codes. Impact Glass for coastal applications is also available in some doors.
Door Materials

Fir doors offer the most economical choice of door construction. The fine grain of Vertical Grain Fir stains beautifully. They can also be painted to a smooth finish. Being a wood product these doors will require proper care and finishing. Depending on the exposure the exterior side may need a top coat of quality finish with UV inhibitors every year. Available in 6/8 & 8/0 Heights. Glass options include True-Divided Lites in many configurations and Impact Rated Glass |
Fiberglass doors offer a combination of economy and low maintenance while maintaining the look of a traditional Fir door. The skin of these doors is a polymer material mixed with fiberglass and then molded to look like a wood door. They are offered in a Textured (shown) or Smooth skin. The Textured can be given a wood look using gel coat stains. Both versions can be painted with any exterior or interior grade paints. Available in 6/8 & 8/0 Heights. |

Clad doors combine the weather resistance of aluminum on the exterior with the warm beauty of a wood interior. An engineered wood stile is Clad with a Powder Coated Aluminum extrusion to give the door a maintenance free exterior. The interior of the stile is covered with Clear Pine. The exterior cladding comes in 6 colors shown and is NOT TO BE PAINTED. The interior can be stained or painted. Available in 6/8, 8/0, 9/0 & 10/0 heights. (9/0 is priced the same as 10/0). Glass options include a range of internal grills to give the look of divided lites such as 10 or 15 lite and impact glass. |
Mahogany and Alder doors offer the beauty of rich wood and the versatility of custom manufacturing. In addition to these two species we can custom make doors in other popular woods. Being a solid wood product these doors will require proper care and finishing. Depending on the exposure the exterior side may need a topcoat of quality finish with UV inhibitors every year. Available in any height and with virtually any glass and panel configuration including impact glass. |
