Threshold Options

Threshold selection affects the appearance and the performance of folding doors.  Careful attention should be given to the level of water and air infiltration resistance you want the door system to have.

Options for Impact Systems

The DP rating for a threshold indicates the Design Pressure test it passed for water infiltration.  During testing a vacuum is pulled on the interior of the door system while water is sprayed on the exterior.  The higher the DP rating the stronger the vacuum was during testing.
